OUR RANCH
Spring Rock Ranch is a 520 acre luxury glamping and natural experience venue
Bring your hiking boots to explore the miles of trails on the Ranch. Our Big Rock Spring is our hidden gem and worth the hike where cool spring water pours out of the rocks at a gushing rate, wetting the natural watercress and pooling just before the old mill site.
Get your toes wet in the dipping hole, a 1.7 mile hike from campsite. Plan a lunch with our picnic tables and tree shade by the creek-side, or order from our guest menu for pickup in the camp store! (Allow 36 hours notice.)
Endless terrain outside camp is available to the public by by gravel road. Continue down the dirt just 3 miles to the public access point of Vera Cruz conservation land, where both Bryant and Hunter Creek meet at a beautiful swimming with BBQ grills and facilities. This is also a great put-in spot to float the Bryant creek by kayak!
OUR STORY
We are Mike and Kayla Peters, both locals from this part of Missouri. Our idea of pursuing the hospitality movement had developed for over a decade, inspired by our first family vacation rental trip as a young family with young children. We were hooked as travelers and made family trips around the outdoors in different vacation rentals across the country; always coming home with a deeper sense of appreciation for our unique and peaceful home community.
In 2021, this very land full of potential on the other side of the county went up for sale. After prayers and tears, we seized the chance to create a forever family vacation by purchasing this property! We sold one of our family businesses, took a BIG leap of faith, and proceeded to get dirty developing our dream ranch.
We love and admire the unique biodiversity of the Ozarks, and our joy is to share the rugged beauty we love so much with guests and friends!
RAISING RANCHERS
Our small family farm includes a variety of animals: chickens, bison, and beef cattle. Feeding our family natural, grass-fed meats and organic produce is important to us, and our desire is to share that quality with others. We are excited to share our farm animal experience and tours, coming 2024!
Expansion plans include the addition of heritage turkey, pasture-raised hogs and sheep; stay tuned on our Facebook Page for progress and pictures!
